Bad Breath-Halitosis

Eating habits can cause bad breath....

When food is broken down, it goes into the blood stream, carried to the lungs and given off in your breath. Strong foods, such as garlic and onion , only give a temporary odour and will not go away until the food passed entirely through the body. As well as this not flossing and brushing regularly leaving food particles to remain on and between the teeth leaving bacteria to attack causing an odour.

Maintaining Oral Health....

Brushing and flossing not only prevent gum disease but keep bad breath at bay. Not flossing or brushing regularly promotes bacteria growth on the food particles on and between the teeth. The bacteria attacks the food giving off an odour from the mouth.
